Structure and working principle of sprocket

Structure composition
Motorcycle sprockets are usually made of aluminum alloy or steel, and are precision processed after mold forming. Its core structure includes:
Centrifugal strip and cutter teeth: directly engage with the chain to transmit power and torque.
Center hole and bolt: used to install and fix on the transmission countershaft (driving sprocket) or rear hub (driven sprocket).
Working principle
Power transmission path: The engine power passes through the driving sprocket (fewer teeth, high speed) → chain → driven sprocket (more teeth, low speed) → rear wheel.
Buffer design: The driven sprocket is connected with the rear wheel through a rubber buffer block to reduce transmission impact and improve comfort.
