Scenario based selection of steel supports
1. Template support scenario: prioritize "lightweight adjustable steel support"
In the support of residential floor slabs and wall formwork, the load is mainly vertical static load (the force on a single support is usually 30-80kN), and the construction space is narrow. Therefore, lightweight adjustable steel supports with a diameter of 48mm/60mm should be selected. This type of product weighs only 8-12kg per piece, and can be transported and installed by a single worker. The adjustable height range is 1.2m-3.5m, fully meeting the support requirements of conventional floors (2.8m-3.2m). For example, in the construction of a standard 18 story residential building, the use of lightweight supports with a diameter of 60mm and adjustable height of 1.5m-3.0m can quickly complete the installation and leveling of the floor formwork, and after disassembly, it is easy to transport to the next floor for reuse.
2. Temporary support for heavy components: choose "high-strength adjustable steel support"
In the construction of heavy components such as bridge cover beams and large equipment foundations, a single support needs to withstand a vertical load of 100-300kN, and high-strength adjustable steel supports of Φ 89mm/Φ 114mm should be selected. This type of product adopts a thickened pipe wall (wall thickness 10-16mm) and adds reinforcing ribs at the adjusting nut, with a compressive strength of over 350MPa. Taking the construction of bridge cover beams as an example, if the total weight of the cover beam and the construction load is 5000kN, 20 supports need to be installed. High strength adjustable steel supports with a maximum load capacity of 300kN and a diameter of 114mm should be selected to ensure the stability of the support system. At the same time, by accurately adjusting the nuts, the elevation of the cover beam can be fine tuned (± 5mm) to ensure construction accuracy.
3. Temporary support for complex terrain: choose "adjustable steel support with universal base"
In complex terrain construction such as mountainous buildings and foundation pit slopes, the ground flatness is poor (the slope may exceed 15 °), and ordinary supports are prone to tilting and instability. Adjustable steel supports with universal bases should be selected. The base of this type of product can achieve an angle adjustment of 0 ° -20 °, which can closely fit the inclined ground. At the same time, the height range of the inner rod adjustment is 0.8m-4.0m, which can adapt to the height requirements of different terrains. For example, in the foundation construction of mountain villas, adjustable supports with universal bases and adjustable heights of 1.0m-3.5m can be selected, which can be stably erected on a slope of 12 ° to avoid support displacement caused by ground inclination and ensure construction safety.
